(Based on a story by Alice Kane and published in The Dreamer Awakes [Broadview Press, 1995]).

Notes:

In between all of this, Bren & Juni also asked attendees to tell you guys what the festival means to them, and we've included their comments between segments here. Also are a few random recordings and observations Bren & Juni made throughout the festival.

It's not too late to get the KG experience for yourself! From 17th - 19th September, Raven's Knoll will host a Pagan harvest festival called "KornuKopia Gathering" (or KKG, for short). Here's the web site of the event for more information:

Opening:

Opening music clip is “Diaspora”

Bren and Juni are thrilled to be home after Fest and tell you all about it. There’s some discussion about the difficulties of recording on a campground, Juni plots and plans for next year. Bren tells us the history of Kaleidoscope Gathering and Raven’s Knoll and where to find it, he enthuses about the work he and many others have done to make it possible.

Juniper is impressed at how well Raven’s Knoll handled the sheer amount of people on site.

Bren and Juni talk a little about the various workshops, concerts, rituals and such they were involved in or attended. Also about the difficulties and thought that goes into planning such events.

Bren goes on and on about community so much you expect him to cry … but he doesn’t.

Juni was happy to fire dance as it’s been a couple of years.

Tambourine styling played Juniper on her tambourine named Sassy.
