Opening: Opening music clip is “Diaspora”
Bren and Juni are thrilled to be home after Fest and tell you all about it. There’s some discussion about the difficulties of recording on a campground, Juni plots and plans for next year. Bren tells us the history of Kaleidoscope Gathering and Raven’s Knoll and where to find it, he enthuses about the work he and many others have done to make it possible. Juniper is impressed at how well Raven’s Knoll handled the sheer amount of people on site. Bren and Juni talk a little about the various workshops, concerts, rituals and such they were involved in or attended. Also about the difficulties and thought that goes into planning such events. Bren goes on and on about community so much you expect him to cry … but he doesn’t. Juni was happy to fire dance as it’s been a couple of years.
Tambourine styling played Juniper on her tambourine named Sassy. http://www.kaleidoscope-gathering.ca/
Bardic Segment: We play you a song from Heather Dale’s album The Gabriel Hounds called “Fisherman’s Boy” which is one of the songs she played on stage at KG
Ask Dr. Expert: Bren gets a chance to interview Gavin and Yvonne Frost. They talk about teaching, controversy and the future of Paganism. You can hear the festival going on in the background!
