A Darker Shade of Pagan is an ongoing weekly podcast and streaming Internet radio show that looks at modern music from a unique spiritual perspective. The Pagan perspective. The show is hosted by Jason Pitzl-Waters, a DJ for six years at WEFT community radio in Champaign, Illinois and a former music columnist for newWitch magazine. With a desire to find a deeper (and darker) musical tradition within the modern Pagan and occult communities, and a voracious appetite for vital threads of underground and independent music, the final product exists in a liminal state between these two impulses.

A Pagan in the Threshold
I am MeadowMoon and I live in South Carolina. Yep! That's right, a pagan in the Bible Belt!
I have been married for 14 years to a wonderful man that I'm not sure how he tolerates me and I have two children ages 13 and 8. I work from home and home school my sons. In addition to taking care of my family I am a full time student working on my BS Alternative Medicine. I also have been studying the paranormal and I have been in a paranormal investigation group for a year.
I have been a pagan for 5 years. Part of the reason I have decided to do this podcast is to motivate myself to study the way I should. So here I am now attempting to do this before an audience. Hope you enjoy!
